Who We Are
The Bayville First Aid Squad has been serving the community since 1954. Our members are all volunteers and our squad is structured with dedicated and highly trained Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT’s), Drivers, Attendants, Cadets as well as a supporting Ladies Auxiliary. All Squad operations are overseen and supervised by Line and Executive Officers respectively. We strive to provide all of our patients with the best quality Emergency Medical Services and care as possible, as well as keeping our one important goal – Be there when you need us!
What We Do
The Bayville First Aid Squad always has members on-call and standing by on dedicated duty crews. 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year! Whether it’s a Lift Assist, General Weakness, Motor Vehicle Accident, House Fire or even a CPR in Progress Call, regardless of what the Medical Emergency may be, the Bayville First Aid Squad ensures it will be there and answering your call for help. Our members are required to maintain their skills and training through Continuous Education and training provided by the Squad. This is to ensure that at a moment’s notice, when our Squad gets dispatched out, our responding members are always ready and prepared to handle any situation through Basic Life Support (BLS) skills and training. We assist and standby at many community functions in town such as sports related events, concerts, fairs, races, parades and even fireworks displays to ensure a rapid response when necessary. Our Emergency Services are always free and available! This is only kept possible because of all the help we receive from our residents, through various donations and through the support of our great community at many fund raising events!
We also provide Adult, Child & infant CPR training to the community, which is led by our experienced instructors. If you or someone you know may be interested and would like to receive more information on becoming CPR certified, click here.

Additionally, we are always seeking young members between the ages of 16 and 17 interested in learning the Emergency Field, through our Cadet Program which is supported by the Central Regional School District.
